Summarizes areas of employment of graduates in materials science and engineering.

Students who present a seminar receive a letter grade; other students who attend receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable.

Two quarters of rotations with research groups for first year MSE Ph.D. students. Aim is to expose incoming Ph.D. students to research groups and their projects so they can make an informed decision on which research group to join. Each rotation will require a short (~5 page) report on the research of said group. The two rotations may be taken from the same instructor. Enrollment is restricted to MSE graduate students.
