Parking Enforcement
Parking Enforcement is a unit within the Police Department which enforces the parking regulations that are implemented by the campus Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS). Parking citations are processed by the Records and Citations office located within the Police Department. Citations may be paid or contested online at Paymycite.com 24 hours a day, or in person during business hours.
The parking enforcement team has been providing security crime prevention patrols at the Coastal Biology Campus (CSC, Long Marine Lab) and other campus buildings during the modified closure and health order closures upon request from community members and stakeholders. Parking officers are a resource to community members at this location, by providing information directly to and from community members to the Police Department. This communication has assisted in maintaining safety, awareness, and helped with efforts to deter criminal activity in these locations.
