NUR 215 Adult Health Concepts III #

Advanced medical and surgical knowledge and skills needed to provide nursing care to clients with multisystem organ failure, organ transplants, intravascular coagulation, human immunodeficiency virus, oncology, shock, and burns. Utilization of patient centered approach to prepare students to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that reflect patient-centered care, safety, informatics, teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
NOTE: NUR 216 is listed as a corequisite and must be taken and passed at the same time. Failure to pass one corequisite course will require repeating both corequisites courses, which will count as one failure. One failure is allowed for NUR 100 courses and one failure for NUR 200 courses with no exceptions. (Fall 2018)
