SW 253 Human Behavior in the Social Environment
This course allow students to participate in the in-depth study of the physical, psychological, social, and cultural forces impacting the growth and development of individuals within the context of their families, communities, and society. Using a life span approach, a social work strengths perspective, and a person-in-environment framework, the course covers the prenatal period, school-aged child, and adolescence through the aging years and death.
