Radiologic Sciences Major - Bachelor
The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences is an online bachelor's degree completion program designed for radiologic professionals who have completed an associate degree or certificate program in radiology or another radiologic science program (i.e.: nuclear medicine or radiation therapy). The curriculum provides the learner with a balance between professional radiologic science courses and those in the liberal arts and sciences. The courses in the natural and behavioral sciences and humanities serve to enhance the depth and breadth of the professional radiologic sciences curriculum.
Course are conducted completely online with the exception of the clinical requirements of the completion options in Sonography, MRI Imaging, CT Scanning, mammography, and bone densitometry. Space for placement at a clinical site is limited. Students may request permission to use other clinical arrangements with prior approval of the program chair.
