Advanced Placement (AP)
The College may grant credit to students who have successfully participated in the Advanced Placement Program of the College Entrance Examination Board. Students who earn satisfactory scores on the appropriate examinations may be granted credit. Qualifying scores and the number of credits granted are determined by the individual academic discipline. Credit is recorded on the student’s transcript and identified with “TRC” instead of a grade. Transfer credits are not used in the computation of the grade point average at RCC.
