OCC 29000 Fieldwork Practice Area II

Transition from the role of student to that of entry level practitioner by participating in this 2nd of 2 Level II Fieldwork experiences. Learn in an authentic practice setting under the direct supervision of an OT practitioner who works in collaboration with the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC).  With the guidance of the AFWC, students synthesize the knowledge and skills gained in OTA coursework to address the diverse needs of their clients and begin to solidify their professional identity. Students must complete Fieldwork courses in two distinct practice areas to qualify for the national certification examination and state licensure with a total of a minimum of 260 hours.

OCC 20700 and OCC 20900 with a grade of C+ or higher
