LGS 10510 Domestic Relations
Divorce, child support, separation. This course prepares the paralegal student to assist attorneys with family law and domestic issues. Topics covered include conducting intake interviews, formation of marriages, prenuptial agreements, annulment, grounds for divorce, separation agreements and procedures for obtaining a divorce, spousal support, property division, child support, visitation, child custody and adoption. Students will examine the ethical responsibility in such emotional matters.
