Program Description:
The program provides students with an interdisciplinary education that will prepare them to meet the technological challenges in today’s society in the area of computer information systems. It focuses on practical applications of technology to support organizations while preparing students for transfer to a baccalaureate program.
Program Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Design, implement, test and debug programs that employ fundamental programming constructs
- Effectively use word processing, spreadsheet, presentation graphics and database management software in a professional office environment
- Use technology effectively to communicate and analyze information related to computer information systems
- Utilize methods involved in analyzing and designing information systems
