NUR 10140 Language of Nursing

Students will learn the vocabulary of healthcare and how the Nursing Process is used to organize and analyze data. The Nursing Process is a framework for critical thinking that the professional nurse utilizes to provide safe and quality care to patients. The Language of Nursing begins with basic health-related vocabulary and goes on to introduce and reinforce the core concepts required for communication and collaboration with the healthcare team. This course is appropriate for any student interested in Nursing as a career.
