How to invest? Where to start? What does one need to start investing? An exploration of various investment vehicles and strategies will be conducted with an understanding of the theory and practice of investment decision making. Hands on experience in selecting an investment portfolio and an introduction to resources investing on your own by the end of the course. Topics covered include economic, financial and industry analysis when investing, financial theories, history of equity markets in the USA, market efficiency, why and how to invest, risk and investing, return, major asset classes, hedge funds, options and futures markets.
