BIO 10500 General Biology I

This course is the first of a two-semester sequence and will include an extensive survey of biological principles. Plant and animal groups are studied from an evolutionary viewpoint. Major topics such as properties of life, evolution, and chemical connection to biology, cellular biology, genetics, biotechnology, metabolism, and photosynthesis are stressed.
