PHY 11200 Physics II Honors with Calculus

The course is the second semester of a two-semester sequence of calculus-based honors physics. This course is designed for students pursuing a career in the sciences, including health sciences and engineering. Topics include: electric field; Gauss's Law; electric potential; capacitance and dielectric; current and resistance; DC circuits; magnetic fields; Faraday's Law; AC circuits; electromagnetic waves; laws of geometric optics; image formation; interference of light waves; diffraction; relativity; nuclear structure and nuclear physics.
