ESL 05700 Applications of Language Skills II
This is an intensive course designed for students assessed at the Intermediate II level of English competency. The class focuses on application of the four basic language skills—speaking, listening, reading and writing—through essay writing, reading comprehension, class/small-group discussion and presentations. These skills are examined and applied with the goal of giving students sufficient command of the language to approach college-level English proficiency.
