ENG 10400 College Writing II Honors

This honors course is the second part of a one-year writing sequence emphasizing the creation of analytical essays based on the interpretation of the content, structure, style, and context of imaginative texts. Students will develop strong critical reading skills in response to challenging works of literature including poetry, short stories, novels and dramas. They will learn to seek out, use, and properly document literary criticism in the process of staking out their own interpretive positions. Six or more writing assignments are required.
