CFS 20100 Film Genre: Sports

Students view a selection of films from the sports genre and sub-genres and learn to become active and critical viewers. This course explores how sports films have evolved over the past century and what this evolution tells us about film, history, and culture. Students identify and develop an appreciation of the artistic elements of this genre and the relationship between film and other media.
