SCI 106 Introduction to Earth Science

The course is designed to familiarize non-science students with scientific methods, data collection and the role of measurements in Earth Science. Topics studied will include but are not limited to: Earth formation and its position in space, plate tectonics, earthquakes and volcanoes, geological time and sedimentary processes, stream, groundwater, and oceans, climate systems and global change.
