LGS 103 Civil Litigation
This course covers the various stages of litigation including investigation, pleading, discovery, trial and appeal, as well as the impact of technology on the litigation process. Using applicable New York and federal statutes and rules, students will learn how to draft litigation documents, as well as discovery devices. There is an examination of the rules of evidence. Appeals and alternative dispute resolution are also covered.
