AUT 213 Automotive Transmission/Transaxle

This course presents the theory and operation of modern automatic transmissions including gear sets, torque converters and continuously variable transmissions. Topics include in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle service, repair, maintenance and adjustment. Students remove, inspect, diagnose, disassemble and reassemble automatic transmission/transaxles. This course helps prepare students for work in the automotive industry and ASE certification.
