CRJ 229 Analysis of Domestic Violence

This course is designed to enhance students' understanding of domestic violence in its various forms. Utilizing a criminological perspective, emphasis will be placed on understanding the criminal justice response to domestic violence. We will explore the historical context of domestic violence, changes in the criminal justice response over time, and societal responses to providing advocacy for victims and treatment for offenders.
