BIO 250 Human Pathophysiology
This course is intended to introduce students to the biological basis of human disease and alterations in physiology as a result of disease. Physiological alterations will be discussed at the genetic, cellular, tissues, organ and systemic level. Mechanisms of disease across the lifespan will be explored. Hypothetical patient data will be assessed to determine probable causes of diseases and potential solutions.
