PER 156 Theatrical Stage Combat: Unarmed
To create the illusion of violence, the actor must combine specific techniques with timing and controlled movement. It is the objective of this class to develop skills that will enable the student to create the illusion of reality through theatrical stage violence, that will look convincing and be safe, while telling a story on stage. Course culminates in a Society of American Fight Directors adjudicated Skills Proficiency Test. (Satisfactory course completion fulfills the Exercise and Human Performance requirement.)
