SPE 210 Introduction to Speech and Language Therapy

This course is designed to introduce the community college student to the theories, processes, problems and therapeutic interventions of speech and language. Acquisition of language and the development of phonology, morphology, semantics and syntax will be covered. Obstacles to communication posed by functional and organic pathology will also be examined.
