PLG 103 Civil Litigation
This course covers the various stages of litigation including investigation, pleading, discovery, trial and appeal. Students will learn to conduct factual investigations and client and witness interviews. Using applicable New York and federal statutes and rules, students will learn how to draft various motions, as well as discovery devices. There is an examination of the rules of evidence. Appeals and alternative dispute resolution are also covered.
