ENG 288 Detective/Mystery Fiction

Study of the detective novel from its origin with Edgar Allen Poe and Arthur Conan Doyle through the immense and varied achievements of such writers as Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler.
