I: Incomplete
A request for a grade of “I” is initiated at the end of the semester by a student when the student has made a “good faith” effort to complete course requirements but due to extenuating circumstances, cannot. This request may or may not be granted at the discretion of the instructor.
- The “I” grade is changed to a letter grade when the course work has been completed by the student and approved by the instructor.
- The work must be completed by a date specified by the instructor, but no later than the withdrawal date published in the Schedule of Classes for the following semester. Learning Contracts and extended Distance Learning course work must be completed 15 weeks after the submission of grades.
- If the work is not completed in the specified time, a grade of “F” is assigned.
