Campus Crime Statistics/Campus Security
Rockland Community College is committed to providing students a safe environment in which to learn and to keep students, parents and employees well informed about campus security. As required by the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, the College prepares a campus security report that identifies alleged criminal offenses reported to campus security authorities or local police agencies that have occurred on campus and in certain off campus buildings or properties owned or controlled by the College. The Campus Personal Safety Committee will provide upon request all campus crime statistics as reported to the United States Department of Education pursuant to the Campus Security Act. You may review the campus crime statistics for the College by visiting the Department of Education website at ope.ed.gov/security/index.aspx. To obtain a hard copy of the campus crime statistics and additional related information, please contact the Director of Public Safety at 845-574-4362.
