C. Academic Cabinet

The Academic Cabinet is a decision-making and strategic-planning body composed of curricular and co-curricular campus leaders. Members include the provost (who chairs the committee) and any vice provosts, one representative from the Faculty Senate officers, the deans of each academic school, one graduate program director, the Dean of Students, the Dean of the Office of Student Retention and Engagement, and the Registrar. The Academic Cabinet meets monthly and reviews new program proposals, which come from the Curriculum Committee, and academic policy recommendations, which generally come from the Office of the Registrar. The Academic Cabinet also reviews information presented by the Assessment Committee and uses it for strategic planning.
