POS 3013 The U.S. in the Modern World
Includes world changes as a result of WWII and the end of the Cold War, the role and impact of the U.S. on world trade and the new global economy, goals and problems of the United Nations, and the struggle for civil rights of women and blacks in the U.S. Emphasis is on the ability to engage in library and internet research and to communicate integrated lessons employing audio/visual and computer technology. This upper-division course is built upon key features of K-12 methodology. PR: Sophomore status or departmental approval required.
