A. Adjunct Evaluation

  1. Directors and/or chairs review all syllabi and course experience surveys for their school.
  2. Each January and May, directors and/or chairs review course experience surveys and other aspects of adjunct work, including feedback from the Office of the Registrar and Online Learning.
  3. All adjuncts will receive follow up, preferably from directors and/or chairs. Some adjuncts will simply receive an email of praise and support. When concerns are raised, adjuncts will be required to meet with their directors and/or chairs before they are given a new contract.
    1. The Assistant Provost will provide Human Resources with a list of adjuncts who are on hold.
    2. Human Resources will not issue new contracts to these adjuncts until the attached form is filed with her office.
    3. When directors and/or chairs meet with adjuncts, they will fill out the appropriate form and submit it to Human Resources.
  4. Directors and/or chairs and adjuncts are encouraged to interact frequently outside of this formal process.
