J. Syllabi

For each course, instructors are required to prepare a course syllabus for distribution to students on the opening day of classes.

Rochester University syllabi have many required components, including course information, instructor information, learning goals and outcomes, coursework and assessment, and course policies. To ensure that all required components are included, instructors are encouraged to use the syllabus template, which can be found on the Faculty Resources Google team drive.

Two weeks before the start of each course, an electronic copy of the syllabus should be submitted to syllabus@RochesterU.edu for review and archiving.
