EDP 2002 Educational Psychology

This course is designed to examine the branch of psychology that specializes in understanding teaching and learning in educational contexts. Students will be exposed to topics such as cognitive, social, physical development; socio-cultural teaching approaches; classroom management principles; motivation; standardized testing; and assessment. Students will also explore current and critical issues in educational psychology. This course satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained.
