DAN 2110 Dance Appreciation

A survey class that examines dance as a primary mode of human expression and communication. This course introduces dance as an art form and enhances knowledge of the historical, cultural and aesthetic aspects of dance through readings, discussion, media presentation and movement. No prior dance experience is required. This course must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher.

Prerequisite

REA0017 or REA0011 or REA0019 and ENC0025 or ENC0021 or ENC0022 (completed with a grade of “C” or higher in each course) or appropriate placement test scores. Students who are not required to take the common placement test or enroll in developmental education courses do not have to satisfy prerequisites.
