NUR 4164 Nursing Research and Informatics

This course provides the RN to BSN student with a foundation in nursing research and informatics. Design methodology, ethical aspects of research, reliability and validity, and interpretative methods of analysis are discussed. Principles of critical appraisal are taught along with the use of evidence-based practice to interpret findings. With regard to nursing informatics, this course examines how information technology has changed the direction of health care.
