RTE 1111 Introduction to Radiographic Patient Care
This course provides an introduction to patient care in the profession of radiography. Topics of instruction include effective communication techniques, infection control including HIV/AIDS, patient assessment and assistance, pharmacology, emergency medicine, patient care in critical situations and in specialty areas, body mechanics and general safety precautions and guidelines.
Prerequisite
Admission to the Radiography program.
