MAT 0056 Supplemental Topics for Intermediate Algebra

This course provides supplemental instruction in developmental mathematics concepts. This course is in a modularized format, targeted to specific skill gaps. Instruction will be individualized and students will be required to complete assignments containing those competencies not yet mastered. Topics may include whole numbers, integers, solving equations, rational numbers, decimals, ratios, proportions, percents, geometric figures and their measures, problem solving and inequalities, integer exponents and polynomial expressions, polynomial factoring, rational expressions, graphing, and radical expressions. This course must be completed with a grade of "P". This course does not satisfy mathematical requirements in General Education or apply toward a degree.
