ANT 2100 Introduction to Archaeology

This course is designed to provide an examination of the historical background and methodology of archaeology and its significance today; how archaeologists make and study the finds to illuminate the past; the study of archaeological concepts and procedures; and how archaeologists describe cultures as part of time and space to interpret the prehistoric past. This course satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of "C" or higher must be attained.
