CHE-2001 SURVEY OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY ONLINE
This course is a survey of Organic Chemistry which aims to give students a core of understanding of organic chemistry topics to prepare them for Biochemistry and Advanced Clinical Chemistry (MLS 4130). The course will cover all of Organic Chemistry 1 and a few topics from Organic Chemistry 2.
Topics include polarity, intermolecular forces, acids and bases, nucleophilicity, functional groups, naming, elimination and substitution reactions of alkyl halides, stereochemistry, mass spectrometry, NMR, IR, aromaticity, resonance, carbonyl chemistry, amines and amides.
