SME1360 ORTHOPEDIC CARE
This course serves as an overview of the skills and knowledge required for a massage therapist to be successful in an orthopedic and/or medical work environment. Students will learn about common musculoskeletal injuries, massage modalities that are useful in a clinical environment, and the basics of working alongside other healthcare practitioners. In addition, this course will provide students with an understading of the differences among various populations, and how these differences may appear in an orthopedic or medical environment.
