PHIL211 Ancient Philosophy
This course is a survey of major Ancient Western Philosophical traditions, texts, and thinkers, emphasizing Plato and Aristotle, but also including the pre-Socratic and Hellenistic eras. Course themes include Ancient Greek and Roman (et.al.) perspectives on the nature of reality, knowledge, virtue, happiness, the soul, logic, and philosophical inquiry.
