BIO214 Microbiology
A study of viruses, bacteria, protozoans, and the lower fungi with special emphasis on their environmental and medical implications. The course considers the characteristics, ecology, control and impact on humans. The laboratory concentrates on the development of aseptic techniques and the culturing, enumerating, and identification of microorganisms. Fulfills open and liberal arts electives.
