HEA211 CPR and AED
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator can greatly reduce the chance of death when a person is found in cardiac arrest. Basic life support skills will be taught along with rescue breathing, care for choking, and patient assessment skills to empower the student to respond with speed and confidence in a life-threatening emergency. The course cost includes a fullcolor text to be picked up at the Danvers Campus Math & Science 106C.
Note: This course does NOT meet the requirement for Health Profession students.
