ANS130 Alternative Therapies in Animal Care and Treatment
This survey course will introduce students to the current alternative therapies and modalities utilized in animal care and medicine. The benefits of homeopathy, herbal medicine, therapeutic touch, stress-reducing aromatherapy are some of the topics that will be presented. The impact of companion animals on our society, and how they are humanely and cooperatively utilized for our physical and emotional well-being will be covered. (3 lecture hours per week)
