VET216 Veterinary Pharmacology
This is an introduction to the science of pharmacology as applied in veterinary medicine. Basic principles of pharmacology are covered as are commonly used pharmaceuticals, their uses and side effects. In addition, the role of the veterinary technician is explored in terms of dosing and treatment protocols in the veterinary setting. A 'C' or better grade is required for graduation.
