Admission as a High School Student

Students currently enrolled in high school as a junior or senior may be eligible for the MSU Eagle Scholars program. This program allows qualified high school juniors and seniors to take MSU college courses at their high school or an MSU campus. The Eagle Scholars program has partnered with high schools, area technology centers and various educational foundations to provide this opportunity. A student must submit an Eagle Scholars application to the Office of the Registrar, 201 Ginger Hall, Morehead, KY 40351.

The application must include the student's high school GPA and ACT. Students must have a minimum ACT composite score of 18 and a high school GPA of 3.0 to be admitted unconditionally to the Eagle Scholars program. Subscores from the ACT exam will be used for academic advising and appropriate placement in coursework.

Any exception to the requirements must have the approval of the Eagle Scholars program. Direct any questions to the Eagle Scholars office at 606-783-2995 or ecp@moreheadstate.edu or to your high school guidance counselor.
