Career and Technical Education – IET - Master of Science

Admission Requirements

  1. General admission to graduate study.
  2. Satisfy one of the following:
    1. A minimum GRE score of 285 (verbal and quantitative),
    2. Undergraduate GPA X GRE = 855, or
    3. Earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher after completing 12 hours of MSCTE required coursework.

Requirements for the Degree

  1. Be unconditionally admitted to the program.
  2. Successfully complete and defend a thesis or pass both a written and oral comprehensive exit examination (passing grade for written examination = 70 percent).
  3. Must complete the required course work with a minimum graduate cumulative 3.0 GPA.
