SOC 655 Qualitative Research for the Social Sciences

This course is designed to introduce students to the methods and issues of qualitative social science research. Topics to be covered will include the theory-method link, qualitative research design, qualitative techniques of field research (observation, in-depth interviewing, and document study), case studies and content analysis, and ethical issues.
