DGMP.4000 Media Production on Location
This course will allow students to use media production to immerse themselves in a foreign culture and city. Through research and a classroom session in New York City, students will become attuned to the cultural and architectural elements of their local metropolitan center. Upon arriving in our host city, the baseline developed in NYC will be challenged by a new culture and city to explore. Students will learn the history of their new urban classroom. Through scheduled experiences, lectures, and opportunities for self-guided exploration, students will develop the ability to further develop their media production skills as well as gain a strong portfolio of new work. Students must be enrolled in the study abroad trip to enroll in this course.
