ART5090 ART & DESIGN FOR THE WEB

The objective of Art & Design for the Web is to learn the foundations of design for the World Wide Web. Using current web design applications, students will be introduced to the concepts of html page layout using what is referred to as WYSIWYG, or "what you see is what you get." Students will focus on the visual content and compositional design of web pages. They will create their own personal website which will include digital images, interactive rollovers, hyperlinks, tables and simple animations. Three required hours of lab time per week. Prerequisite: Computer Graphics I
