Irish Studies Minor

Irish Studies Minor Requirements

Students who chose Irish Studies as a minor must take a total of five courses, including either

HIS 2090 Modern Ireland since 1601 or HIS 2077 Ireland and its Diaspora

Plus one 3000-level seminar and three electives.

Ireland Study Abroad

Students taking a minor in Irish Studies may take advantage of non-cooperative courses at a number of Irish universities including Trinity College, Dublin, and the University of Limerick. Manhattanville students may also participate in Sacred Heart University’s program in Dingle, County Kerry, which provides a year-round schedule of classes as well as Winter and Summer intercessions.
